Ashby Youth for Christ

Ashby YFC provides lunch and home time clubs, assemblies, lessons and residentials for young people in school as well as evening drop-in, sport and activity based evening clubs. AYFC works with local churches and other youth work organisations (including the local young offenders unit). All of the above with the aim of reaching out to every young person in Ashby and area to take the Good News to them in a way that is relevant and life changing.

Our work is supported by organisations, individuals, grants and is governed by a board of trustees.

We ensure that the people who both volunteer and work within Ashby YFC have the essential ingredients of; love for God and a heart for seeing a positive change within Ashby’s young people. Each is trained to high standards and security checked as outlined within our safeguarding policy.

Ashby-de-la-Zouch is a small market town. In it lives a diverse assortment of young people with unique and evolving individual needs. Our work has to be correspondingly sensitive, imaginative and responsive.
