Money Hill Developments
Within the North West Leicestershire Local Plan Land north of Ashby de la Zouch (referred to as Money Hill) is allocated for housing and employment uses. This allocation is also supported within the Ashby de la Zouch Neighbourhood Plan, which cannot be in conflict with the Local Plan. The development of the Money Hill site will include 2,050 dwellings and 16 hectares of employment land.

The Money Hill development consists of three schemes that already have planning permission.
Two developments at Woodcock Way and Arla Dairy have already been built or are in the process of being built.

The development of 605 dwellings immediately north of Nottingham Road already has planning permission and a Master Plan and Design Code for that area will be approved soon by North West Leicestershire District Council. Once this approval has been given Reserved Matters applications can be made. There is already approval for the construction of a roundabout of the A511 that will feed in to the development.

Consultation of the wider Money Hill Masterplan
North West Leicestershire District are consulting on a Masterplan for the remainder of the Money Hill Area. This shows how it is envisaged that the site will be developed.
