Ashby Castle Women's Institute

Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month starting at 2pm in the Methodist Church Hall, Burton Road Ashby. We have Speakers and Demonstrations covering varied topics and interests.

In addition to our monthly meeting we also have a Craft Club which is held every 3rd Thursday at Ashby Museum North Street at 2pm.  A very popular Book Club, a Garden Club who keep the garden by the Library/Museum tidy and in good order. Dates are arranged at our monthly meeting for anyone wanting to join the book club and to help with the garden.

Outings are arranged throughout the year.

Ashby Castle WI is part of the Leicestershire and Rutland Federation of WIs and our WI takes part in the many activities which are open to all WI Members within the Federation. These include County Darts and Skittles tournaments, Quizzes and Lunches with interesting entertainment. Day classes are held on many subjects.

Visitors can attend 3 monthly meetings before deciding to join as a full Member. The cost to visitors is just £4 per session and the yearly subscription is £46.
